Realistica Adams :This government is following policies it presented to the people to get elected and should not deviate from that. At least it is doing that compared to previous regimes which did not. Being a bankrupt country, SL needs to be cautious in its recovery and keep to its policies. This is not only about the economy but social transformation as well, as the country’s law and order was poor. Young families are struggling due to past doings which this government is trying to rectify but it will take time.

Rukmal Seneviratne : prices of food and beverages in coffee shops such as Barista are exorbitant. wnamal :Mr Mustafa, I am not sure whether you are trying to dry clean the present government. A government with about 7 Billion dollars of foreign reserves should not have let 2 billion worth of vehicles into the country in one year to just increase the rupee taxes This is elementary maths. The fuel price has gone from about 70 dollars a barrel to 120 USD a barrel. Say, it doubled. How come Sri Lanka fuel bill went up from about 150 million a month ago n Jan/Feb to 549 million in May. This is three times the amount in January. Is it because Sri Lanka had to import extra fuel to cover the 25% reduction in the generation of coal power. The NPP government is responsible for this situation.
