I will come back to Parliament in 2029 and make sure that Minister Harshana Nanayakkara in prison: Archchuna

Colombo, July 25 (Daily Mirror) - Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara was asleep after a booze at the time of the clash in Negombo Prison, Independent MP Ramanathan Archchuna alleged in Parliament yesterday.

“The Minister was not aware of what was going on,” he said.

“I will come to Parliament in 2029 as well and will see to it that Minister Nanayakkara is sent to Prison,” he added.

Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe who responded said the Justice Minister having a drink is his personal business. “These MPs speak as if they put soda into the Minister's drink. The Minister performed his duty after the clash. He did everything for the victims of the clash,” he said.
