Homeless daily-wage earners quarantined in Sampur

Around 200 homeless persons including those who were engaged in small scale trade and depending on daily income were taken away to a quarantine centre in Sampur in the Eastern province by a joint operation carried out by Navy, Police and the Public Health officers on April 15 2020. The operation was carried out to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
