Navy Commander Kanchana Banagoda promoted to Admiral ahead of retirement

Colombo, June 30 (Daily Mirror) - The Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, has been promoted to the rank of Admiral.

Following this promotion, Admiral Banagoda is to retire from his post as the Commander of the Navy tomorrow (July 1st).

Admiral Banagoda assumed duties as the 26th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy on December 31, 2024.
