The All Island Under 16 10-a-side Rugby tournament will be worked off tomorrow (30) at the Trinity College Rugby Stadium in Pallekele and Bogambara Stadium in Kandy.
The final day’s proceedings will move to Bogambara Stadium. There will be 32 teams locking horns in eight different groups. The knockout stages will be worked off Sunday (01). The last Under 16 All Island tournament was held in 2019 and Isipathana College were the champions. The tournament was not held for the last three years due to Covid-19. (Shamseer Jaleel)

Group A - Vidyartha, Thurstan, Lumbini, Richmond;
Group B - St. Joseph’s, Dharmaraja, St. Benedict’s, Panadura Sumangala;
Group C - Wesley, DS Senanayake, St. Sylvester’s, Sri Rahula;
Group D - Isipathana, St. Peter’s, Mahanama, Devapathiraja, Trinity College Rugby Stadium Pallekelle: Group E - Science, Zahira, Ananda, Carey;
Group F - Royal, St. Anthony’s, St. Aloysius’, Sri Piyarathana;
Group G - S. Thomas’, Kandy Sumangala, Prince of Wales, CWW Kanangara;
Group H - Trinity, Kingswood, Maliyadeva and Nalanda.
