Air Force SC too made a repeat performance of their Nippon Paint Rugby League encounter against Army SC by coming out on top with a comfortable 27-16 victory in another Plate Championship match played at the Air Force ground in Ratmalana today.
Air Force SC, having taken a 13-11 lead at the breather, made up their points from three goals and two penalties, as opposed to the two tries and two penalties scored by Army SC.
The try scorers for the Airmen were Denuwan Lakranda, Dunal Fernando, and Sudath Bandara, while Nuwan Perera booted over the conversions and a penalty, while the try scorers for Army SC were Sudaraka Dikkumbura and Manoj Kumara, with Chamath Fernando booting over two penalties.
