UNP will follow policies of its founders : Ravi K

UNP is looking towards going along with the policies of its founders with a new team, its Colombo District Leader Ravi Karunanayake said yesterday. Mr Karunanayake said the party will strive towards safeguarding policies of late Prime Minister D. S. Senanayake, Dudley Senanayake and J. R. Jayewardene and implement them through a new team. “We are happy that UNP is cleaned up and see to it that it will not be dirtied by anyone. We will also correct our past errors,” he added. Asked about the crisis with regard to Coronavirus he said UNP does not want to politicise it at any point. “We will give every support to the government in preventing the spread of COVID-19,” he said.
