STATE EMPLOYEES TO RECEIVE SALARIES ON MONDAY

All state employees would receive their salaries on Monday, March 23, following a directive by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to the Secretary of the Finance Ministry S. R. Artigala, the Prime Minister’s Office said.

Accordingly, the Finance Ministry has made provisions for the salaries of all state employees to be paid on Monday. The Prime Minister also noted that state employees have been committed to the prevention of COVID-19 in Sri Lanka. Mr. Rajapaksa commended and thanked all state employees especially those in the health services for their selfsacrificing service.
