More number of COVID cases being reported daily : Dr. Hemantha Herath

More than 800 cases are being reported daily and we urge the public to adhere to health guidelines and get their booster jabs as soon as possible, said Deputy Director of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath.

"A percentage of COVID patients including the elderly and those with comorbid conditions will require oxygen. But we haven’t reached maximum capacity. Having said that we don’t want to have more number of cases or a higher demand for oxygen," Dr. Herath said.
