Building collapses in Kaththankudi injuring 8

At least eight persons were hospitalised when a concrete slab of a building which was being constructed at Mary Amman Kovil in Kaththankudi collapsed yesterday.

Police said the injured were admitted to the Batticaloa and Ariyampathi Hospitals.
