GMOA warns of misleading social media post

Colombo, July 9 (Daily Mirror) - The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) has warned the public about a fake and misleading post targeting the association that is circulating on social media and messaging platforms.

In a statement, the GMOA urged the public to verify information through official channels before accepting or sharing such content.

The association called on everyone to act responsibly and refrain from spreading unverified information, stressing the importance of upholding ethical standards.

The GMOA also thanked the public and its members for their cooperation in preventing the spread of misinformation.
