The UPFA has won the General Elections in the Kegalle District by obtaining 242,463 votes and securing 7 seats while the UNP has obtained 104,925 votes and secured 2 seats. The Democratic National Alliance secured 13,518 votes
The UPFA has won the General Elections in the Anuradhapura District by obtaining 221,204 votes and securing 7 seats while the UNP has obtained 80,360 votes and secured 2 seats. The Democratic National Alliance secured 18,129 votes.
