Mar. 18 (Daily Mirror) - Nuwanidu Fernando and Dasun Shanaka shone in Colombo’s first innings win over Jaffna in a high scoring match of the National Super League four day tournament encounter concluded at R. Premadasa Stadium.
Fernando slammed a career best knock of 180 which had 14 boundaries and two sixes and shared two big partnerships of 158 runs for the third wicket with Nipun Dhananjaya and 189 runs stand for the fifth wicket with Shanaka who made 118 with 13 boundaries and two sixes to help Colombo in reply to Jaffna’s score of 491 to make a formidable score of 592 for 8 declared.
