Right through the day the buses must be in their lane this is the major issue even int he Galle Road. Why aren't the police doing anything about it? The busses on one lane the tuk and motobikes int he other other lane

Paul, a massive number of private busses are owned by top cops and politicians. In some cases, large fleets of them. Hence, these drivers break the rules with impunity as any fines are withdrawn subsequent to a phone call to the boss.

I am a tourist in SL and using the buses and trains and I am horrified at the recklessness of the bus drivers. Why are they so crazy to get from A to B without any regards for the passengers or other road users. If you want to have more tourists visit your beautiful country please address this issue.

I cannot see any reason for arresting the bus driver. The 3 wheeler was at fault as clearly seen from the recording.

Whichever government who gets appointed and whenever vehicle imports are allowed. Please please don’t allow anymore 3 wheeler. It’s a menace to our society. I hope the bus driver is OK and will be out of any serious court verdict other than ‘failure to avoid an accident’ . Next time some blooming comes and lands in front of me when I’m on the correct lane and driving peacefully- I will be arrested. Cursed 3 wheeler drivers.
