The police was sleeping all this time collecting money to send the children abroad for studies. What a joke if the ordinary sri lankan knew that we had a drug issue in Sri Lanka, how come the police didn't know about this until now.

Sick of seeing these reports, mostly fabricated. Refrain from reporting without arousing public anger.

Give flogging as additional punishment to reconvictrd criminals before releasing them from prison. Just to remind them not to engage in crime again.

It has become a mockery. Where do you keep all of them ? Already prisons are overflowing with people ? What about some army camps or police training schools or colleges ? Any government project must have some planning?? You must have planned before you arrest them all .. You must have released all miner offenders first to replace their places by these people . Reform all prison service with some human resources developments programs ..our human resources are our National wealth . Before you lock them up think how to make use of them ...think if these economically and financially viable . You must arrest big dealers specially Politicians who are involved in this menace . Then the country will be clean

IS ARRESTING YOUTH THE TARGET OF YUKTHIYA OPERATION?

Tissa Fernando Monday, 22 January 2024 11:06 AM

But underworld killings continue in Mexican style. More scammers in the country. So , these numbers mean nothing if the crimes continue like before.

Is Deshabandu going to lockup 50% of Sri Lankans in the prison...police state?

    Buddhist Monday, 22 January 2024 05:07 PM

The utter failure of Deshabandu is clearly shown as large amounts of drugs are still coming into the country. This shows that Deshabandu has not caught a single drug lord and he has only caught small flies.
