Kataragama Kapuralas hoodwink the devotees, they consider all donation of gold and cash made by devotees, to God Kataragama , becomes Kapuralas' own property and they possess the right to be used by their families, Buddhist should follow the precepts of Buddha's teaching, speak truth, don't steal, help the needy, avoid alchol, Lord Buddha's protection and blessings would shower on you.

People should know when they make expensive offerings that those who intercede would decide how the offerings could be used ..No pile of Gold would be on the altar for long . ..what is their expectation?.It is irony indeed that the most expensive gifts are offered by those who made it rich by hurting others like selling drugs . a poor woman's coin would be left unseen

SL, the wonderland full of fools, thieves and idiots, who follow useless unproven myths and practices. Why don't they just go and donate those funds to needy, poor families. A good punishment for the idiotic devotee. Is he paying taxes with all the wealth? I wonder why the so called God did not punish the Kapuwa, lol.

Re-incarnation of the Justice - "Gedera Yana Gamana" meted out almost 20 years ago (perhaps 19 years) to a well-known prominent, 'subject' of this resplendent Isle, for misappropriation of 'Public Donated Funds' to victims of Natural Disaster, as NOT GUILTY, isn't followed in this instance!!!??? Perhaps our Justices presently occupying the Noble Chair are much more erudite in the dispensation of Justice and Importantly Jurisprudence, than we had then!!!??? That will be true, IF SL is PROGRESSING, and ‘NOT STUCK’ or WALLOWING in the MIRE as is the ‘inborn’ HERD habits!!!???

The devotees must understand that the money given with the puja wattiya and gold given to Devalaya end up in the pockets of some person or persons and not in the pocket of God Kataragama. The proper way to seek help from God Kataragama is to worship the Kirivehera, Bodhiya and other scared shrines and offer merits to God and ask for any favour. What Gods need is merits and not money

Its farcical to enforce a surety or a fine for such a fiddler. Gullible devotees will ensure he can meet such with ease. Question to 'Devotees' - How come people in Russia, China, US and other developed countries lead successful lives with comfortable incomes not even knowing these Gods, horoscopes and auspicious times?
