Pasindu Jayaweera, a Sri Lankan in Germany won the incredible Tesla Cybertruck as the grand prize after becoming the winner of the WSO2CodeChallenge held in Hollywood.
The WSO2CodeChallenge was held from May 7 - 9 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL.
WSO2's cloud-native software as a service (SaaS) offerings and open-source software are instrumental in the digital transformation journeys of numerous organizations, spanning thousands worldwide.

When someone achieves something great, he suddenly becomes a Sri Lankan, even though he is German. The correct term would be: German with Sri Lankan background. Be that as it may, many good people leave Sri Lanka because this country does not offer a future for its good educated young people and after a few years they take citizenship of their new home country. Very few people then have any interest in taking up Sri Lankan citizenship as a second citizenship. Anyway, Germany will allow dual citizenship from June 2024.
