He said the Bill will be presented to the Cabinet next week.

Also, the Minister informed the House that the government had made a policy decision not to construct coal power plants in Sri Lanka.

Kanchana you are taking your own decision without consulting the AG on every issue, won't you think this is like Hitler's regime. Be aware, always you cannot act like this, we will keep a full stop for you.

Who gave the powers to you tiny tot to act on your own on CEB matters? Do you think that CEB unionist will tolerate your games? Be careful Kanchana.

Also remember the minister should not and would not tolerate the unionists games. The unionist do not run the CEB. If they have been allowed to do so my some spineless ministers in the past that need to come to and end for the consumers and the nations sake.

Any form of restructuring should give the consumer maximum relief. It should be reduced tariff and better service. Not like changing the pillow for headache.

Kanchana you do everything as per your own way, which is bad. Maybe you are young and talented, but you too have so many weaknesses closing the eyes and putting the poor people in trouble.

Very good move Minister Kanchana. CEB is run by corrupt politicians, corrupt union leaders, inefficient management

Running on collosal loss must come to an end. Restructuring is very important. It can be turned around to a profit making entity providing service to consumers at much lower price.
