AG receives 65 volumes of PCoI report on Easter attack

The Attorney General has received 65 volumes of Proceedings of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) on the Easter Sunday Attacks from the Secretary to the President today.

AG's Coordinating Officer Nishara Jayaratne said 22 volumes were not handed over due to sensitive nature of evidence pertaining to national security.

    "22 volumes were not handed over due to sensitive nature". This is were all the important information is and is hidden. What is the use of such commissions eating a lot of tax payers money.

    Expenses of the Commission were bore the people and they should be divulged each and every content of the Report for people's perusal. It's ethical the Commission members hold a press conference early.
