Government to evoke 2007 circular to take action against non academics on strike

The government is to evoke a 2007 circular issued by the University Grants Commission to take action against non- academics who are currently on strike .

According to this circular issued by then UGC Chairman Prof. Gamini Samaranayake , non- academics who do not report to work will be subjected to pay cuts.The government believes this circular is still valid .
