Mujibur Rahuman gazetted as MP

Colombo, May 09 - The Samagi Jana Balavegaya has nominated Mujibur Rahuman to fill the void left in Parliament following the disqualification of Diana Gamage as a Member of Parliament.

This nomination was formalized through a gazette notification, marking Rahuman's ascent to the parliamentary seat.

I believe this is a good decision as he was not a defeated candidate. If SJB appointed Hirunika, its violate the conditions of eligibility of National list election as she was defeated by the people
