Industries Minister Wimal Weerawansa today said that his personal Facebook account had been hacked and the hacker had posted some posts critical of the government, and he asserted that he had no hand in posting such posts.

The Minister claimed in a post that his account had been hacked for several days and that he had reported the matter.

He said he was fortunate to fully retrieve the account but would call for an investigation.

The Minister also commented that several posts were shared by the person who overtook the account and hundreds of comments had come in for these posts, criticizing the Minister. "I pity those who commented without any scrutiny on the posts shared by the account holder during that period, causing conflict," the Minister said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

Who cares if his Facebook hacked or not. Wimal is a puppet politician in the parliament. He doesn't know what he is talking and he doesn't know what he is doing. So he is a puppet in the parliament.
