The acceptance of objections for the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL) elections 2024-2026 will close on April 26 at 2.00 p.m.
Earlier, the nominations for the NFSL elections closed on April 22.
Any objections to the nominations for the NFSL elections will be studied and the final list of names will be officially announced on May 30, NFSL Three-Member Election Committee Member C. Rathnamudali said yesterday.
The NFSL elections for the period 2024-2026 will be held on May 30 at the Duncan White Auditorium of the Ministry of Sports.
32 District member associations affiliated with the NFSL will cast their vote to select the new office-bearers including President (1), Deputy President (1), Vice-Presidents (4), Secretary (1), Assistant Secretary (1) Treasurer (1) Assistant Treasurer (1) and Tournament Secretary (1).
The three-member netball election committee is headed by Retired High Court Judge Wimal Nambuwasam (Chairman) and the other two are C. Rathnamudali and Padmajina Siriwardhana.
Among the nominations for the NFSL elections are former President Thamara Dharmakeerthi Herath and the incumbent President Lakshmi Victoria.

Assistant Treasurer: (1) E. K. A. Himali and P. D. Sumithra. Tournament Secretary: (1) Priyanka Peiris and H. P. M. Perera.
