Ganuka Fernando of St. Peter’s College and Inuki Jayaweera of Musaeus College won three titles each at the Bandarawela Open Ranking Tennis Tournament.
Inuki won the Girls’ Under-18 Singles while beating Yuhansa Peiris 6-3, 6-2 in the final and paired with Saneshi Willoraarachchi to claim the Girls’ Under-18 Doubles while overcoming the combination of Gehansa Methnadi and Sandithi Usgodaarachchi 0-4, 5-4, 10-8 in the final.
Later, Inuki joined Saneshi and won the Women’s Doubles beating Diyana de Silva and Lihini Jayaweera 4-2, 5-4 in the final.
Meanwhile, Ganuka won the Men’s Open Singles beating Zaidh Zihar 7-6 (5), 2-6, 11-9 in the final. He also took the Boys’ Under-18 title defeating Louis Knese 6-3, 7-5 in the final.
Ganuka added his third title of the tournament when he partnered L. Goonetilleke and won the Boys’ Under-18 Doubles while beating B. Balarathnaraj and Sasen Premarathne 4-0, 4-0 in the final.
