Man shot dead in Middeniya

An unidentified gunman is reported to have shot dead a 36-year-old man at Middeniya last afternoon Police said the man, a resident of Kariyamadiththa was returning home after attending a funeral at Dambethalawa when he was shot and was dead by the time he was admitted to the Embilipitiya Hospital.

The Middeniya Police are investigating into the shooting.
