Seylan Bank refurbishes ambulance under Suwa Seriya

Seylan Bank recently facilitated the repair and refurbishment of an ambulance under the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation’s ‘Adopt an Ambulance’ initiative. Operating within Puttalam, the reconditioned ambulance will strengthen healthcare in the area by elevating access to medical aid.  Seylan Bank’s Director and CEO, Ramesh Jayasekara and Assistant General Manager – Marketing & Sales, Asiri Abhayaratne presented Sohan de Silva, CEO of the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation’s ‘Adopt an Ambulance’ project with the donation. The occasion highlighted the aim of both Seylan Bank and the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation at further consolidating a significant healthcare initiative in the country.  Speaking about the donation, Asiri Abhayaratne explained, “We recognize and applaud the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation’s project as a brilliant effort at augmenting the island-wide distribution of quality medical support. As the Bank with a Heart, wevalue efforts that both safeguard and promote communal access to medical aid and elevate public health.
