In celebration of the International Women’s Day, which fell on March 8, 2025, People’s Leasing Welfare and Sports Club organised a special event to honour the dedication and contribution of the female staff of the head office and branches. 

This event aimed to recognise their commitment and efforts in propelling the company to greater highest, aligning with the International Women’s Day theme ‘Accelerate the Action’.

A special programme was organised to educate on ‘Healthy Lifestyle for Busy Women’ by the guest speaker, National Hospital Senior Registrar in Clinical Nutrition Dr. Chathurika Balasooriya.

People’s Leasing General Manager/Chief Executive Officer Sanjeewa Bandaranayake expressed his appreciation for the women’s dedication in balancing their professional and personal lives across different life stages at People’s Leasing. He further emphasised enthusiasm for building a strong female workforce within the company.
