People’s Bank shines at Best Management Practices Company Awards

People’s Bank reaffirmed its leadership in organizational excellence by winning multiple awards at the Best Management Practices Company Awards 2025, hosted by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka). 
The ceremony was held recently at Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, recognizing organizations across the public and private sectors for their outstanding management strategies and performance.
At the forefront of this year’s honours, People’s Bank was awarded the Gold Award in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Cluster, a significant recognition that underscores the Bank’s deep-rooted commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity, equality, and respect across its operations. This accolade positions People’s Bank as a trailblazer in implementing inclusive workplace practices that empower diverse talent and promote equity at all levels.
In addition to this distinguished honour, the bank was Selected among the Top Twenty Outstanding Companies, Named Category Winner – Banking (Public Sector), Awarded Bronze in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Cluster, Received Merit Awards in both the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Cluster and the Digital Literacy Cluster.
Representing the Bank at the awards ceremony, Manjula Dissanayake, Deputy General Manager – Human Resources, accepted the accolades alongside members of the executive management and senior officers.
