Keshara Lime Industries wins Best National Industry Brand Award

Keshara Lime Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded the Best National Industry Brand in the Large-Scale Mineral and Mining Allied Industry category at the National Industry Brand Excellence 2024. 

Organised by the Industrial Development Board (IDB), the ceremony was held on February 21,  where Managing Director Jeewamaal Jayawardhane accepted the award. 

Founded in 1994, Keshara Lime Industries traces its roots to Jayawardhane’s early vision, while still a student at Kingswood College, Kandy. Recognising the potential of dolomite rock in his hometown, he launched Keshara Enterprises with just two employees, he revolutionised the industry by introducing powdered lime production in Sri Lanka. The company became a private entity in 2001 and secured SLS certification in 2003, solidifying its reputation for quality.
