The Business Management School (BMS) Campus in partnership with Teesside University, UK, will introduce two master’s degree programmes in Digital Transformation this January, to keep in line with the government’s initiative of ‘Digitize Sri Lanka’.
The BMS, at a press conference held last week announced that the two degree programmes offered are, an MBA in Digital Transformation and an MSc in Digital Marketing, both starting in 2025.
The Dean BMS School of Management Dr. Manil De Mel told the press that these degrees align with Sri Lanka’s digital framework development efforts and aim to prepare the next generation of leaders for success in the global digital economy.
“The programmes are designed to equip Sri Lankan students with the skills necessary to thrive in technology-driven roles, focusing on emerging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, Data Analytics and Machine Learning.
Students will gain the knowledge to navigate digital disruptions and lead digital transformation initiatives in medium and large organizations,” Dr. De Mel said.
Real world case studies and practical learning experiences will form the core of the curriculum, helping students develop the agility needed to adapt to the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The collaboration with BMS Campus, which has a 25 year legacy in higher education, will ensure high-quality teaching and robust student support.
