Order preventing dissolution of NCPC

North Central Provincial High Court Judge Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne a short while ago issued an enjoining order preventing the dissolution of the North Central Provincial Council before the end of its term.

In a petition UNP North Central Provincial Councilor Anil Ratnayaka had said although the term of the North Central Provincial Council is to officially end on September 17, 2013, there was a move to dissolve it earlier and hold an election. (Athula Bandara)
