One killed in earth mound collapse

At least one person was killed when an earth mound collapsed on a group of workers on the Matara-Akuressa entry/exit road to the Southern Highway this morning, police said.

A 53 year-old man was buried alive when the earth mound collapsed at around 11 a.m.
