No Tsunami threat for Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka lifted the tsunami alert and people could now return to their homes but are advised to not go to sea, the Met Department said.

Meanwhile, eight-inch high tides were experienced in Trincomalee while some boats were reportedly washed away in some areas, though no major incidents were reported.
