Writ petition filed in AC against death sentence

A writ petition was filed in the Court of Appeal today seeking an interim order preventing the implementation of the death sentence.

Meanwhile, the Prisons Commissioner gave an undertaking to the court that no death row inmate would be executed until the end of next week.
