Police officers involved in Deraniyagala clash will be penalised if found guilty: Minister

Colombo, June 24 (Daily Mirror) - Police officers who were involved in the clash in Deraniyagala recently will be penalised if found guilty, Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala told Parliament today. 

The Minister said this in response to a question raised by MP Ravi Karunanayake, who raised the issue. 

The police clashed with the villagers of Deraniyagala during a recent  drug raid.
