Sri Lankan Rupee appreciates further against US Dollar



Colombo, June 19 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lankan Rupee appreciated further against the US Dollar today (19), with the selling rate falling to Rs. 338 compared to Thursday’s exchange rate.

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar declined from Rs. 329.18 to Rs. 328.85, while the selling rate dropped from Rs. 339.06 to Rs. 338.70.

The Rupee also strengthened against a basket of major foreign currencies, including the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Euro, Sterling Pound, and Swiss Franc.
