Video showing Sannasgala organising protests goes viral

A video showing how popular senior lecturer Upul Shantha Sannasgala organized a public protest against the government has gone viral on social media.

Sannasgala was seen appointing young group leaders including females, handing them each a black flag.

“This is not similar to what the LTTE handed their members when they committed suicide. This is for love,” Sannasgala was heard saying to the group.

However, it is not clear as to which protest this group took part in or when these preparations took place.
