Two injured in accident on Outer Circular Expressway

Two persons were injured following an accident between a container lorry and a cab vehicle on the Colombo Outer Circular Expressway last night, the expressway police said.

They said the container vehicle was moving from Matara to Kadawatha when the cab vehicle which was travelling in the same direction crashed on to the back of the container.

The injured were admited to the Homagama Base Hospital.

Police said the cause of the accident may have been due to the reckless driving of the cab driver.
