Police have fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse protesting individuals who had gathered outside Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa’s private residence, the Carlton House in Tangalle.

Meanwhile, police used tear gas to disperse protestors near Kalutara Party Office of SLPP MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena.
