Robbery at Salawa Estate

Colombo, May 9 (Daily Mirror) - An armed gang of six men that entered the superintendent’s bungalow in Kosgama Salawa Estate of the Pussellawa Estate Company in the early hours of last morning had trussed up the watchers and robbed the superintendent of Rs. 10 million at gun point and fled in his vehicle.

Police said the robbers had taken away jewellery valued more than Rs, 2.5 million, four laptop computers, two mobile phones and a double cab.

Kosgama Police are conducting further investigations to arrest the suspects.
