President calls for full report on Kandakadu incident

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has called for a full report on the incident reported at the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center yesterday.

The President, following discussions with Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, has also called for steps needed to be taken to avert a recurrence of such incidents.

At least 50 inmates escaped the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Polonnaruwa following a clash between two groups yesterday.
