Public help sought to identify Sri Lankan woman in Lebanon



Colombo, June 6 (Daily Mirror) - The Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Ministry has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying a woman believed to be of Sri Lankan origin and currently residing in Lebanon.

According to the Ministry, the woman was reportedly known as “Rahma”, but her true identity, family details and place of origin have yet to be confirmed.

The Ministry has requested anyone with information that could help identify the woman or locate her family members and known contacts to come forward and provide details.

Information can be shared with the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, located on the 16th Floor of Suhurupaya, Battaramulla. The Ministry can be contacted via telephone on +94 11 227 5525 or by email at [email protected].
