MoUs to be signed with four countries on G2G procurement of pharmaceuticals: Nalinda

Colombo, July 2 (Daily Mirror) - Four countries inclduing Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Indonesia have already submitted a list of pharmaceuticals to be supplied on government to government arrangements and Sri Lanka will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with these countries soon, Cabinet Spokesman, Health Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said.

He told the weekly briefing to announce Cabinet decisions that seven countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkiye (Turkey), Indonesia and Thailand have agreed to supply pharmaceuticals on government to government arrangements.

The Minister said Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Indonesia have submitted a list of 113 pharmaceuticals and added that pharmaceuticals which had been registered in these respective countries will be imported in this manner.
