Korea to open more job opportunities: Korean Minister

Considering the prevailing economic situation in Sri Lanka, the Republic of Korea's Coordination Minister Koo Yun cheol informed President Gotabaya that the Korean government is focused on providing more employment opportunities to Sri Lankans in Korea. 

The decision was announced at the Presidential Secretariat following the third day of the official visit of the Korean Coordination Minister from March 31 to April 2.

During a call with President Gotabaya on March 31, Minister KOO Yun-cheol highlighted that in celebration of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations this year. He believes that both countries should look into ways to strengthen their strong bilateral ties in the future.

Minister KOO Yun cheol further assured that he would encourage more Korean entrepreneurs to invest in Sri Lanka and share Korea’s technological expertise with the locals. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
