Keheliya Rambukwella was appointed as the Minister of Mass Media while Janaka Bandara Tennakoon was appointed as the Minister of Public Services & Provincial Council and Local Government.

Meanwhile, C.B. Rathnyake was appointed as the Minister of Wildlife and Conservation while Mahinda Amaraweera was appointed as the Minister of Environment.
