Health ministry to appoint 1,408 doctors

Colombo, August 6 (Daily Mirror) - The Health Ministry has called for applications to appoint 1,408 doctors who have completed their internship as Primary Grade Medical Officers.

In a statement, Deputy Director General (Medical Services) II, Dr. H.M. Arjuna Thilakaratne, announced that doctors who completed their internship on or before October 29, 2024, and meet the required qualifications, are eligible to apply through the Ministry's Human Resources Management and Information System (HRMIS).

Applicants are required to submit their applications online by 12:00 noon on August 11, 2025.
