Health Ministry declares booster vaccination week from tomorrow

The Health Ministry has planned a booster vaccination week starting from tomorrow (29) to coincide with the completion of the first year of the vaccination drive in Sri Lanka, the Government Information Department said.

The promotional booster vaccination drive will be conducted at islandwide hospitals and the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) offices.

The vaccination drive officially commenced on January 29, 2021, in Sri Lanka and more than 51 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines had been brought to the country so far. (Ajith Siriwardana)
