Former Minister Gamini Lokuge passed away in a private hospital this evening.

The Minister was a senior member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP),

SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam who confirmed the death said it was caused by certain complications.
