Engineer arrested for assaulting female employee

The Chief Engineer of the Western Province Road Development Authority Udugampola Office was arrested for an alleged assault on a female employee, Police said.

It was reported that the Chief Engineer was interdicted prior to the arrest.

A video was circulating on social media where an individual assaulted a female employee inside a office premises.
