Defence Ministry urges to renew firearms before Dec. 31

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) announced today that those who possess personal firearms or had firearms on private security agencies to renew their licences between October 1 and December 31, 2022.

The Ministry said licences would not be renewed after December 31. 

“Anyone owning and operating a firearm without a valid license will be penalised according to Section 22 of the Firearms Ordinance,” it said.
